Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team. The RBT will work closely with children and adults with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders, providing direct one-on-one therapy under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate is passionate about improving the lives of individuals through evidence-based behavioral interventions, and is committed to fostering a supportive, positive environment for both clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), as designed by the BCBA.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients, focusing on skill development and behavior reduction.
- Collect accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and interventions during each session.
- Collaborate with the BCBA to assess client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments and implementing behavior intervention plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines, including HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers, providing updates on progress and offering guidance on reinforcing strategies at home.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to ensure competence and growth in the field of ABA.
- Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with clients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral challenges is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to pass background checks and meet the requirements set forth by the company and regulatory bodies.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to engage in physical activities such as sitting on the floor, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility, when needed.
