Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. The BCBA will be responsible for overseeing and implementing evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients, families, and a team of dedicated staff to develop and monitor individualized treatment plans that promote meaningful, positive behavioral change. The ideal candidate will be passionate about empowering others, skilled in behavior analysis, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other evaluations to identify the needs of clients.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and best practices in ABA.
- Provide direct supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other team members, ensuring they are properly trained and following intervention plans.
- Monitor client progress through data collection, analysis, and ongoing evaluation, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to maximize effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers on how to implement behavior strategies in daily life and reinforce positive behaviors.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and community providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of behavior analysis and incorporate new strategies into client care.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines, including confidentiality and HIPAA compliance, while maintaining a compassionate and professional approach.
Qualifications:
- Active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Active NC License (LBA) required
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques, including behavior assessment and intervention.
- Ability to supervise, mentor, and provide feedback to a team of behavior technicians and support staff.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with families, clients, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet the requirements set forth by the company and regulatory bodies.
- Experience with telehealth services is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to engage in physical activities such as sitting on the floor, standing for extended periods, or providing hands-on support when necessary.
- Ability to work in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, or community locations.
